投的简历全部都石沉大海，懊恼中。。

小弟上个月初MEng毕业读的civil 下面的transportation eng，
国内读的本科完全没有经验在找entry-level，
其实简历从去年底到现在都一直再投不过三月开始投的比较多只有去年底有个不太相关的interview
三月以来都投了差不多30份resume了全部都没有音讯，
resume也改过很多次了给学校改过给政府网上那边改过也给导师看过他们都是没啥大问题针对每个job posting修改一下key word就差不多了，

但是就是没有音讯，，烦啊不知道是出了什么问题难道是cover letter太糟糕了吗还是公司都不愿意找没经验的毕业生？？
英文不好 interview failure就认了重点是interview都没有，，，前辈们怎么看大家也是这样子吗？

30份而已当年我投了差不多一两百份而且三个月才30份频率太低了起码半个月就要30份

你认为希望很大的要好好写一下，介绍一下你的特长和现况。引起人家注意。泛泛的投不写也行。最好是弄个磨版，不同公司改一下就行了。

确实听过很多关于这样的例子，，，但是确实还没有这个balls
也不知道该怎么做直接打电话给他？？然后就ask for job？？也不知道什么是proper timing 什么时候不是，，求指导

市政府倒是经常招人，lz没有经验啊，很难拿到政府的职位。

Running into them may be a little too aggressive. Go to their websites, most of them should have management contacts listed. Don't email them your resume, they'll simply dump it to HR. Don't leave them voice messages either. CALL them. Keep calling on different days of the week and at different time of the day. Keep calling and calling until you can speak with them, do a 20 second intro, ask him which project/department is hiring, then get the next contact, call the new contact, rinse and repeat till you get an interview.

Sounds tough but really, there is no better way to distinguish yourself from thousands of others. Sitting behind a screen spamming out resumes makes you feel warm and fuzzy but it won't get you anywhere.

Thanks so much...非常constructive，，总是听要networking networking，但是不知道从何入手

老外都比较接受这种形式吗？我总是怕会留下不好的印象，尤其自己英文又不算好（努力提高中）

还有个问题我的prof叫我多去参加那些某些组织的dinner 还有 conference，，但是在那种场合ask for job会不会不太适合？？

很多都说要上百个简历啊但是真的很花时间我是会每个都改一次简历看他们公司website 然后改 cover letter....加上最近的job postings真的没有多少合适的，，

Attending workshops, seminars, conferences, breakfast & dinners does help but you have to remember, nowadays people are very smart and as soon as they hear "new graduate" they'll know why you're there.

Which might not be a bad thing. Some people do like helping others. If you're good with socializing, go. If you're just gonna sit there look like a dumb ass, stick with your keyboard-chair job hunting.

最近经济不好，特别是卡尔加里。目前就pipeline 还有些小项目。但是基本都是翻修和扩容。去年年底的时候还不断有猎头主动打电话给我，让我跳槽，三月开始到现在就一个电话都没了。

可是试试萨省，经济没象这这么单一。

阿省经济现在还不明朗，近期要看keystone XL, 长期要看 gateway. 下半年应该可以见分晓。

但是最近公司股票狂涨20%，吓了我一跳倒是真的。

nope, not a doctor, engineer or accountant. Rare for a Chinese I know right.

全加都有投，，但是不知道怎么样估计没经验的遍地都是他们也犯不着要个老远的，，

我当初在家每天工作8小时，内容，找工作，投简历，email,fax,mail，三管齐下，三月后才找到工作，当时都记不起什么时候发过简历的。努力吧。。。。。。
