最近大量成功人士包括妇老幼加入冰钓活动,那就得谈谈fish这个词 u, Q& ~1 n3 ]: XFish确实是可数名词,又是不可数名词。更特殊的是它的复数形式并非我们认为的那样。 7 O5 R6 S3 ^% ^0 {Fish作为食物原料来讲的时候,是不可数名词。我们i说I ate an apple 但是不说 I ate a fish(不知道在猫的语言里是不是这样讲), . \3 l8 T0 G/ l( t7 W! e说I like seafood and I can eat a whole fish for dinner.还差不多, 通常就说 fish。这时候就是不可数的。! \& Y$ a" r) M4 C: x& n
我们去钓鱼的时候,fish就是可数的了,但是记住,你钓了几条?one fish, two fish,都是fish,而不是 two fishes。 + y4 q% T. g& E2 W; ~难道fish的复数就是fish本身吗。也是也不是。同一种Fish的复数就是fish,fishes是用在不同种类的fish时候 6 u! F4 o3 w$ w' i: s8 ?

According to the Oxford Dictionary, both fish and fishes can be used as the plural form, but fish is more common. * D6 g' q9 N2 J# T0 [

We use fishes when talking about different types of fish. For example, I caught five fish today and they were different fishes. 4 |- b( A$ ^7 o9 b
' t3 U. l0 m1 }Fish is uncountable when we talk about the meat of fish. For instance, I want to have fish for supper.
