Fish确实是可数名词,又是不可数名词。更特殊的是它的复数形式并非我们认为的那样。 * L) C2 \# f: ?- Z# ~4 jFish作为食物原料来讲的时候,是不可数名词。我们i说I ate an apple 但是不说 I ate a fish(不知道在猫的语言里是不是这样讲), ' F" H8 n& g9 m5 q# n7 D {说I like seafood and I can eat a whole fish for dinner.还差不多, 通常就说 fish。这时候就是不可数的。 ( B5 o; P- |& e+ p/ E我们去钓鱼的时候,fish就是可数的了,但是记住,你钓了几条?one fish, two fish,都是fish,而不是 two fishes。 5 O- l- D6 c0 d7 J' \! j( W难道fish的复数就是fish本身吗。也是也不是。同一种Fish的复数就是fish,fishes是用在不同种类的fish时候 3 g9 u* \6 q: I n/ ~

H1 u7 K# o4 m5 sWe use fishes when talking about different types of fish. For instance, I want to have fish for supper.
