Job Description:
( ~9 @. w! h4 b& N% K, d0 LJob Responsibilities
) x- g2 z7 i% i2 X0 O$ g1 T) B' }•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
9 H' E! |$ G& z•        Oversee hotel security requirements. 4 L, O, e9 x. [# w0 @/ u9 E6 e3 d
•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
/ h7 O$ c8 p6 @1 r/ K# T1 d•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
3 H8 X7 L% {7 |; p- V•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.3 O2 J9 u. P2 n9 q" m8 v( a
•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
0 z. P+ O; J$ k" f  v•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
, j( }8 e) _: V/ |1 L•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.
$ f& u. c) T0 L9 I1 T4 s•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. ; d9 P3 l/ E/ K
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term. - E/ ?+ K+ D! |5 @# c$ ?
•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. ; P# x% w$ M1 Q1 ^* m8 h* D
•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. 2 l3 S: ^' U. T7 w! M+ f+ t2 p
•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
! `2 {) e+ s( r- P' p•        Attend Cluster meetings.
# F6 A  @. x# _; {: O7 ~- ~•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
. I; ]1 E% U4 [•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department / |1 N/ m' M- F' d( ~4 F
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
) ]* c9 i' o& X4 E& B•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center6 T# Q- U9 Q. @; S
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float / |8 x6 Y/ o# A9 y( _! E% @2 y& M
•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

( M% I' [8 C7 G# o3 a•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
. \4 q' S4 k# \- f• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;7 g; s* @; i8 X! i- R1 n
• Ability to lead and develop;
( |9 P- x% m" q, y• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;& S  m) ^) |4 T
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;0 K' I+ x9 P* E1 p% @, z9 R! d
• Ability to work within deadlines;7 _( K! y1 B4 T8 k( l# g* v
• High level of creativity and innovation;
0 U7 _3 a& ~. ]( ?* j7 B• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
