Job Description:
8 N% n) q1 x: ~To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy." V4 \  _8 v! i2 Q& E, t+ {" x

8 k6 s9 z( ~$ F  w• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.. w$ [& u. w) J% `  R, o7 e
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
$ D* t* {, ?, a& t( ~% x% ]! B  j: S• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
1 z$ b; f. o+ w0 T; y6 X• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;* T' y& F! ^, F. Q
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.! P9 y. G. i% P$ n- e
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;" i+ t6 _' g5 D9 |  S
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;  w+ I0 o9 L7 j. V1 {  M# P
• Participate in trade shows;% R! \( F+ O  f# R& Y4 f$ E
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;! I% G3 x6 [1 N5 y' \
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;2 I6 {2 I) l. R5 I( s  _; K. t
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

# D$ A/ `; Q; B7 I9 t- M+ X1 ?•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property$ {1 n( @9 G8 c3 ]8 g/ {" E
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;  P! i: N; h( y8 q
• Ability to lead and develop;
* t8 W' d# E" Y6 J+ g& p( z• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
9 }3 z4 A/ f3 L& @/ ^• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
9 n+ |( J4 H) ]" x" d• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
