- recruiting, performing security and reference checks, providing orientation, supervising, referring and placing volunteers
+ D3 F s3 i5 D8 S, G+ Q, \- train volunteers for ISP and provide duties
0 R9 w, U0 r( E6 I$ {& t. |8 e# @- train volunteers for Centre and provide duties
6 T' C' | ~) I- provide volunteers for various programs
* N( ^8 T( l# _3 y/ u- coordinate, update Volunteer Manual
. M+ ]9 X8 V* q' e2 ]4 K5 P- planning and coordinating Volunteer Appreciation+ P. H2 e& a, T+ k6 Z
- participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities. B+ I9 I+ s8 d- F
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to volunteer services i& Q$ h9 `+ F6 X/ u
- assist in writing ISP proposals and reports" P: t: ?; e7 ]% ^
- provide volunteers for Centre activities as needed
% ?7 i5 _7 `( u- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as needed

+ r0 g/ y' a4 L5 t: N S' x2 n- promoting volunteerism through various media including the 3 main Chinese newspapers, Chinese radio station and the Chinese television, Fairchild TV, brochures, pamphlets, booth displays, special events

3 t5 o9 }* A; ]; ?/ p: C- planning and implementing training sessions for volunteers

- degree or diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or related experience and education

- experience in volunteer coordinating and immigrant services: o+ D! d: S. B$ X
- leadership skills4 c$ ^8 Y" p8 x- m0 Y
- management and supervision skills
