5 d) ~+ M% n3 t6 I; E5 IEffective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:
) k5 f V) e7 X/ V1) Any bodily injury or death;/ {: S& J1 P; j) G5 [( V
2) A Hit-and-Run;4 V. \7 c7 h' y, m. A
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;% W9 A& H! f! m8 v
4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;5 g0 E3 v# C A- I P0 X
5) An out-of-province vehicle.

Normally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters.
