Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.+ ~- A1 D* W2 e8 W4 k
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:# g! k6 z* K3 A
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.2 H: M$ F2 u/ y1 K' E2 L  W7 j! D
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
* f  `" R# }0 }; A•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.  {, M9 o, {2 i# I) x
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.1 o1 O" P5 L# q2 u7 Z/ \1 `9 |
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. # A/ o: [" O& w9 a1 }
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.0 |2 G: m- Z, o0 Q; z
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.& j7 i, e: h5 E5 T2 m0 c5 t7 ~
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.8 g! o0 i& [4 F
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).; e! G9 C, _1 s( ?  [0 z3 p; ~" B; D% }
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.: {( R- k0 w: P; F. G1 w: a
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
( P+ ?5 w. C" n: U1 U•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.7 p( R  i- ^& W4 B1 F+ b- e
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.* m8 F" z/ m" o6 X
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

% T6 u5 X6 i$ }! P•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. & @' r5 W6 n5 u" f8 k
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
- A* v8 V" n; C6 y* P0 X5 k•        Strong Union Relations experience required. * t, w; D6 c/ a! T- v
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.# y% L" T8 D9 v8 l6 z
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
