2 n0 H' K1 ^& {Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
' m: M, W. l$ w; x- \/ dReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:7 r/ E  M' Q4 h7 E5 M
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
: p+ @2 N* g" ~•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.2 Z3 @* `  y: \( F2 Q
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
8 _7 \1 w* O4 B5 X1 T•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.1 C/ k' n. I% t! [+ l9 M  l
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
7 S+ A+ e6 g( k•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.9 h4 `6 r3 ~  r* `( \8 S2 J
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.$ h8 N5 f$ J" \7 X6 A; j
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.3 h; I; T- ^" N- l$ }5 r% {
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
9 E: Y" P6 [# M•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.) l1 s1 p" e+ P6 [3 V" u
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
9 b5 I" \# g5 t; G3 b& d7 c4 W•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.& C5 \( {! p/ b8 z2 X0 R1 m" E
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.5 p( z( j, `0 J: O. S7 N8 v7 d  j/ T
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Qualifications+ I, k2 B( b8 a) b- R
Requirements:
9 ^/ G5 L, Q# \•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. - @, x4 H, S$ Q: \( c8 B
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. ! }/ }, l% U1 k2 ?
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
) ]2 W/ x+ G) p% c•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
3 z, G! H" f/ A0 |5 J, s9 T' f•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
