Scope and Purpose of Job# g0 W2 [8 u* o: Q
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.+ Y( C0 U2 s) i* T
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.0 x" }8 C7 W$ q
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
* c' m+ N# m! {4 F; j5 O7 ko Test all new patch versions of software prior to release6 {: B5 ^, [+ P
• Assist where needed in application questions.+ v) @& ^( c2 A* L+ V' P# F. R8 P
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
# y, D0 l( }8 F) R% @$ D, `o New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
* y+ X6 T) v# P; x: Do Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed6 J* t2 @6 }. _5 a T* p
• Track and report all warranty failures, E% }0 |# Z; l# n) N8 |
o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier." r7 z/ v# y% S* l$ p P
o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.$ i: v7 N, O, x: |; H" j
• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o Assist in writing and new product specification

• Assist in Sales support & training.- S( y" Q, Q) w
• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
