The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
3 g# p# v5 U9 ?& m& T4 h& l• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
4 E; g6 @! x% B* T1 Q• Program implementation
$ o8 j% D0 [0 U3 y0 X• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
& R* P; P0 l/ `1 f/ {• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
4 E: g$ z) e/ y6 |! ^& Y) g; F• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
! U. ~( }1 _' u• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
( _4 z9 U8 j5 s- L# b/ K* K3 |• Completion of a high school diploma
, R  b2 }7 P. S( @- o# @0 @9 R• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
8 O- y/ y2 R4 Z+ t0 TTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
! U5 G5 s) R' x) o' H5 B& |• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
* N3 [! S. f( K• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
6 ]2 `4 ~$ `4 G( N• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
, ]' f' D2 i5 l2 i• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
: J4 G7 R) n- K! T7 @4 Y5 j5 OSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
