The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
4 d( _# U5 N* Q  |  k& d• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
$ o/ j" P5 Y/ G• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
9 v2 n0 @+ V4 v' y1 i• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
7 z; Y2 L2 F; _9 a; Y" r/ f• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

+ Q$ i; K! z6 \* dMinimum Qualifications:
3 e, `. f; g& zEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
3 ]; N+ x( }  D! A: WTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
# T1 W' Y) }0 r* z1 s• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
: ^: c; g8 m7 Q% }/ m: B# b, y• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)

• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
1 d* q; s/ z: K, q! k5 R3 L$ k3 n• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
