; C7 s4 k4 ?1 U! N: K% ~6 X; LDuration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
. [: Z0 M% _3 x3 K- r) ]/ i% cCamp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
+ R5 n, T2 {. [* g  V: r8 Y
 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
 Provide positive modelling to youth
  g3 M/ ?4 F2 N Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
6 S4 s& E# f- J. q& E8 k+ I- F Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
& Z! s- |' {! \: H) l" s Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
 Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
4 z: {- f, a5 a5 C Assist in program planning/design
: m3 @' Z. m2 S Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

Attitude/Skills Requirements

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
 A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
; |" C) p; r7 D- F; j Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
* `/ i+ `! |. [) Y0 m& m1 v Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
