Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:4 P+ D3 |5 T1 O' i$ j* @7 B* T
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;/ l8 V+ J$ _1 z1 s" d$ o" v1 Y0 Z
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.# t. O0 X. N% x( U( Y9 v w
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.. T; f. ~- z0 j* X' Z4 f1 _/ a
