1. It's cool.
; p* h% D3 ]( a9 d* \) m7 B8 [. ?, F; p' E1 ?( [
(可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard.
    That's cool;he is cool;this is cool. ) w! M- H, @: o
    Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错)
4 ]- \" V5 m2 b, R$ x* O9 F8 o& B3 ^) d
4 N* }! T/ p" Q- y# v+ @主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。 G' l0 m. `% p) V
    She (He) was cool in the past. 4 h/ Y$ @* _' D
    That's a cool T-shirt.(好看的运动衫)
4 o0 s9 e. F8 t1 h9 `& n6 j    He (she) is a cool person.(文雅礼貌的人)
/ G0 x6 H7 y: f4 {, `$ {- A2 b3 K+ I5 p4 |
但是如果说:Are you cool?
% y8 ~) \; Z- P7 S    She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not
" J9 ~% @+ [" e! m4 q    emotional. ' q/ s4 m9 A* I. F& P
& {2 i  H" b- I# C. x' U
& y/ ?7 Y+ {2 K. Z2. Are you trippin'?
2 t+ G/ t: W) r7 b; G- Q
这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?) ~  e  E. E1 ~8 w2 x- c
    They are trippin'. (= tripping)
& y3 N3 `& G# l0 x    She (he) is trippin'.
4 }2 }9 H/ M, xMr. A must be trippin'.
  N9 j5 f+ a& ^* x& ]9 ?
6 N+ Q5 J0 y) X9 c( b/ l" W 4 i3 v7 k& A6 }0 h5 K. C
3. He is a nerd
+ Z9 B3 J9 A/ b
(A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.)
" Q* S% w+ |& u% n" _2 v% g% j+ {    He used to be a nerd in high school
$ k2 `0 ]/ c* R! t+ C  l. {/ l% ]* V0 X9 |
4. Yo baby2 g4 s9 e5 S/ V/ ~+ \
4 W8 u3 V  w: G, K, D
(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说:
; j8 K. j6 H$ s) X    Yo baby, are you trippin'?
) v$ o, q( {$ k2 P+ C# Z% O) i“Yo baby" 後面可跟任何可以「打开话匣」的句子。
- K6 k' r# f- \9 @: ~9 @5 Z1 QMay I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before. - t. g9 u# K* w$ A# k
0 E1 j3 u% Z' `" t4 F7 r; X' I4 k    Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?) " ?1 Z& w# S2 p7 ^

' C5 p5 Q4 f, y4 x2 y. `9 S5. She is a ho+ c& n/ I  W* w- Z0 ^) O
, ~$ X& Y, ~. l- G# \0 r$ L! x* x
(a girl or woman gives sex freely without charge),也就是说:She is very loose. 或 She is a loose woman (girl)。
2 |4 D' s; ^' |$ D! U    They are (were) hos. 6 x* q$ j: u7 F" D9 U" M$ `3 {: l/ ]
There are quite a few hos in high schools. (a girl or woman is paid for sex.) / x; \3 _  f8 e) X

- e3 H; `" c( o0 V8 O4 I% z' l; n6. Catch you later!
5 J3 Y) T- @- F0 l( t! ^8 _5 H3 s- c) Q$ a5 W, X: b
(a form to say“good乡bye”) 也就是说:现在没有时间与你交谈,以後再谈吧!(I don't have time to talk with you now, but we can talk later.) catch 後面,也可用其他人称代名词(him, her, them 等)
6 x, T" Y% M/ H5 `有时年轻小伙子也用:I am off. I am leaving now; I'll talk to you again. ) W; y6 a* p0 q( A
