Graphic Design Specialist

0 |4 i8 x& a1 CThis position is responsible for the design and production of a variety of communication materials, both printed and web-based.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
/ j# w! F- [7 e# F+ |/ ~+ d•        Create and prepare a wide range of materials for printing, presentations, public displays and events including brochures, newsletters, reports, advertisements and forms.
•        Liaise with our purchasing department and external vendors to ensure projects are completed properly and on time.
* v+ O) ^) J) ?5 ]•        Create and prepare materials for posting on internal and external web sites.

/ i& o9 W# I( n5 Z- w0 U4 {& @SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
7 K8 k) T* [- o1 e( `•        Post-secondary diploma in graphic design or visual communications.
•        Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of print production and web design processes.
•        Minimum of two years of directly related experience.
•        Demonstrated proficiency using Indesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel in a PC environment. Experience in Dreamweaver, HTML, Javascript and CSS also an asset.
•        Proficiency in use of the English language.
