CRNE Study Group for Internationally Educated Nurses

Directions for Internationally Educated Health Professionals (IEHPs) is offering a study
group to assist Internationally Educated Nurses in preparing for the Canadian
, c/ l  f# [" X7 L/ [: P: ~3 BRegistered Nurses Exam (CRNE).

The emphasis is on reviewing materials as outlined in the exam syllabus through a
% {* g, k, M8 x" j" A7 O( \6 mquestion and answer format. Participants will become familiar with the learning
2 n$ {- o% ^5 g3 ^0 ?3 [material and develop test taking skills. The study group is co-facilitated by a Career
4 g/ l$ k4 q6 ?) J- S7 pCoach and a professional in the field.
$ i% b( }# X' f: X  S
To join the CRNE study group, participants are required to be deemed eligible by
' m& C" l+ M( HCollege and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) to write the
October 5, 2011 exam. Individuals who are completing required coursework and are
. Z% K  {/ Y7 v; [1 {- qintending to write the CRNE, may be eligible to participate in this study group.
Participants must ensure availability to meet study group attendance requirement.
/ z4 m3 _$ K/ \$ a0 B" qRegistration for eligible clients is based on a first come first served basis. Since spaces are
limited, early registration is strongly advised.

Important note:
. \7 q% }, F! Q1 R. M% O" w4 OCandidates who live outside of the Calgary area may participate in the study group through
teleconferencing.
