Critical Illness Insruance V.S. group Insurance

May I know what is the difference of this two.

When we have the group insurance from the company we are working, critical illness insurance would be a supplementary insurance stand by for us???

Group insurance plan CAN include Critical Illness Insurance, along with other coverages, such as Medical coverage, Dental coverage, etc. Please check with your employer in regard of particular coverages that you currently have.

Group critical illness insurance is available to cover certain critical conditions.  it provides a one-time, lump-sum payment if a member is diagnosed with one of the covered critical conditions, after the effective date of coverage, and survives a specified amount of time (usually 30 days).

! N/ h( w0 L- }9 a& A) @1 j5 H( }the date the member retires or reaches age 65;
the date the member is no longer a resident of Canada;
