Beginning in 1995, ETIP:

• helps participants develop the skills and recognition needed to work as

difficult to integrate into the Alberta workforce. Some employers may not

Integrated training offers a blend of occupation-related skills, a work

required for the Alberta workplace. Training includes:

• NAIT delivers engineering technologist education applicable to the

• ASET provides professional recognition of the qualifications of ETIP

As of 2003, more than 80% of ETIP graduates over the past six years have$ K* r, e6 \! s2 o0 \5 F W3 ^
found engineering or engineering technologist employment in Alberta.0 a! v+ |+ R# `, c( \+ k
In 2004, 46 engineers graduated from the ETIP program. At the time of
( C9 j6 w2 Y. {* ograduation, almost half had secured employment in the engineering industry,
+ {3 _: r1 }9 }9 hwith over 90% employed at three months post-graduation.
