/ D3 B3 C+ y) k1 ] Complete comprehensive intake and needs assessment process and develop referral and case plans to support newcomers in fully settling and participating in the community  
/ F3 r- m, ]9 E' t# K$ i1 g; F Continue to follow-up with newcomers, EMCN staff and other service providers to ensure newcomers’ needs are met     
 Provide holistic counselling to individuals and families, including hands-on support with accessing resources and resolving difficult issues
1 i1 E8 u2 J* V  r, S3 y Advocate on newcomers’ behalf to programs, institutions and service providers
 Research and maintain current information about programs and resources available in the community
 Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with staff of programs and services in the city and ensure EMCN clients access the most appropriate solutions to meet their needs
  G* l7 Q% G3 `% h Work as a team with EMCN staff to ensure holistic supports are provided to newcomers.

Qualifications
# ?2 d* y$ O! x; z3 | Social work degree or diploma
  \8 D' }2 s% K2 N9 Q Current RSW designation preferred   
; Z% T1 t# c( A9 D0 l( E9 Y( y( { Demonstrated experience with holistic case management and supportive counselling
 Knowledge of and experience in accessing a wide range of programs, services and supports available in the City  
% r' C  y3 X9 ]9 b Ability to effectively listen, assess needs and guide people in a supportive manner
3 [  b5 k% B$ A1 i$ a9 a2 K0 ?) h Sensitivity to cross-cultural issues
 Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
7 P$ B' m4 O; o% E. M$ f+ b Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
9 C1 n9 w' @+ w5 L! d Ability to perform variety of diverse tasks under time pressure.
