  Duties
Delivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
7 a$ R6 H* A# mObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
6 }. k4 A) _0 M  t9 s1 EEnsures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
Prioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
7 o2 T9 |$ G- i8 n6 ?, \4 f% X1 IOperates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions

Qualifications
" K  S8 T) R( e% @Valid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.
High School diploma; previous driving experience required
" P/ j+ I6 H) F% J- L' ~3 [4 bCurrent certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
; Q; G6 m6 Y' E2 q6 ]: k. [( STraining related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
5 E; r# c$ U# {, n1 ?Ability to operate equipment including forklift, power-jack, pallet-jack, Johnson bar
