  Duties
, Y8 w) f  P. V- V8 ]; _$ g, eDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
0 {) V, }9 f4 _/ ]Obtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
Ensures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
6 y3 r( d% B; h7 ^/ f6 y! mPrioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
Operates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions

6 Y- d9 C) l5 W/ LValid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.
High School diploma; previous driving experience required
3 D1 O1 _, L" {9 r' cCurrent certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
* Z4 X# `, b: ^, `0 STraining related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
