2 \/ n8 \) P/ a4 {2 Y' ?Delivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
' z$ u2 u0 m3 n# D' }, d& v0 L- KObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
! I4 t3 w X: Z4 `7 b/ z8 V- GEnsures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
" {' E" F: D& _- V- n' PPrioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead$ F; J) Q) ]8 O& }1 \
Operates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions

Qualifications
# ~" I, j% T! OValid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.
# D M' w6 r% p7 eHigh School diploma; previous driving experience required$ V% n" G4 g, A: G7 p
Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
: p( l" N# |- Q" V8 mTraining related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials5 W A* r$ k% K/ Z9 h, [4 Z
Ability to operate equipment including forklift, power-jack, pallet-jack, Johnson bar
