. ?$ \# b+ ?. w) H" nDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
+ K* B, ?6 z- QObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
% y' V" C: @) Q( b5 U/ VEnsures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
  N( E  A" S3 qPrioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
4 @4 o: ~" y0 b+ K/ JOperates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions
& V- U6 ~  K5 Q* R# _Performs related duties as required
Qualifications
7 l! M- w' l4 uValid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.
High School diploma; previous driving experience required
Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
( G# M0 C- M3 f. B5 h' }7 J/ [Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
Ability to operate equipment including forklift, power-jack, pallet-jack, Johnson bar
Forklift operating certificate
