Duties
6 s' c/ j$ H+ w+ I D' E, t, o! KAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
( A$ f! C" p y# MProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required3 T9 B: s* l. _) }6 m- I9 y
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed6 @% q* a4 x" O+ F( X
Performs related tasks as needed/ v- H- n8 @6 O Z- ]* Z+ U3 H
Qualifications
- L- p; ]7 A7 TDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
2 y1 n. H( l2 A9 h8 CDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred( n5 A( B1 y* [# e. ]
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
( A( o6 D; B! a, T" IKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
