Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)$ W& A" i" ~2 G+ H3 F! B
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
# g2 V- q4 ], N' JPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed; K1 @3 R1 _/ I6 @3 F
Performs related tasks as needed

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
" v) ?. {; G: w# }" ~8 F+ TDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred, g$ E ]1 k9 E0 A" b
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset( T! L, Z2 |) `( w/ K; J
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
% s# L0 ^& Z+ p0 G1 G- ~: cFamiliarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit4 h& W; c* x+ M. }) h8 f" W9 n" @
Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages! i) U' a" Y3 S4 c4 J
