7 s2 X" ]6 K5 u& d% K& eAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
! y$ d3 H+ S6 o! D/ G" b4 g7 l5 KProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
) I( H! o; t$ Y# LPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed
& ]! o& [8 Y3 \8 @. nPerforms related tasks as needed: \" S4 _. u8 H0 L; G% U: `
Qualifications# \, i. U1 ^- ?$ F
Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
! E) P+ v% g1 `7 D% YDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
9 \' Z* ]) ]4 h- \/ x1 l8 MSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset* ]/ H3 |$ V. h+ O u0 A$ c h! c
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
