Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
  x: q, L& a. D3 Q1 ~3 v; Y■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
' a2 C1 o. p& U, P/ qExperience and Education:
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
, C) P6 `" m  N8 A■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
: d! a5 a7 [( j- ^$ N# _* n■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
* ~) V) ^. n- _: ]7 [  h■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
! A& l0 A) ~# i8 O6 {8 @& r8 d■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
! k8 }  f8 ?3 R■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
