Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
2 g. {8 z3 L/ q, f; c■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
3 Z" x* n. v0 m6 P8 I■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
8 F) C1 L6 M, I, |& r2 x■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
Experience and Education:
7 d+ Q" ]- W* m$ N■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
9 X. o8 o0 c" L. b# l" P& X/ F■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
7 a, X9 }+ b" C$ A■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
' R9 D! U7 w' q. T+ R$ Q% U+ ~4 a■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
' `! l6 R! V+ I) T, u4 s■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
+ G! L7 l4 ]' K! D6 }; e■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
