Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
0 j4 k4 _5 t& Q  p6 @■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
Experience and Education:
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
8 V, Z5 K+ I( E1 W■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
. M8 W5 f0 y& j+ m■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
1 `& ^0 K. }, {! ^# P9 y1 U$ A9 G■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
4 ~; O- Y8 k; E* h. C) n, n■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
/ E  X+ `5 k% K9 l; W■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
