Responsibilities
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
+ ?) F1 G4 I+ W' x; v: J■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
, x: W" V0 _0 }: w% ~( \Experience and Education:
. O2 S5 V! B  _% k$ ]4 d■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
5 ^. y" G' a' {) r■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
1 y# |2 F2 G5 U  V* Z# k■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
, I& @$ {- ]6 s4 b1 r+ P: ]■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
: G; @- x5 t6 d& j2 |■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
/ \; k: Q: `/ J" c! {: Y■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
; ~3 E/ H* c9 ~6 g* i* {9 b■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
