Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
1 k, H# `0 V: M( g) L% y■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
3 f n& |0 ]( b9 s+ m■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
) i8 z1 Q! B! [- R$ S; u. g+ x( e: s■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
# ~: M' q9 r1 M1 NExperience and Education:
, P% }; E: j+ M- s6 T$ O% u* Z■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
3 _* F- V7 Z# a4 B: A* ?■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
% X o) O8 |# \- W" ~! j■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
! v7 m3 U: N& M■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;! }( V7 N, c: w$ p* r6 D+ E
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
. V; P( R. c! @0 v# b1 u■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
4 V4 _. Y/ e4 r1 B■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.1 S0 ^- Y* S! C
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.5 M3 B& p4 }+ B, v; g7 e3 g
