 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.

 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth., `) s: p8 S A$ t$ J+ e) ]1 H

 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.2 J% I" n6 F& \
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.& r# x! Z( ~7 ^# g: m3 ?1 u
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.

 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.. w. e/ L. {1 o. N) X4 B# `
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
* a( p% R4 w: j Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
) A( f7 I/ b. I6 {8 K' Q# i' { Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.4 [: q2 F8 K! `6 Z, A4 f
 Knowledge of community resources.) r9 m8 x, z) l) m3 h- p
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.0 R- P h0 s5 ?9 }
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
