6 ]: S: n3 N/ V5 ]2 B4 f/ w Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
. \* |2 W- y7 g0 R; B Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
2 l- s& n; n- ~+ t$ h1 v Completing required paperwork.
6 _1 S( [8 O* U; U. P  B Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
. g% o: T) w3 x Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
6 x; {0 y' u* H4 E Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.


Qualifications:
) y7 L8 s0 g+ p6 O0 d' x
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
0 Y6 d  @- n4 G3 L. \ Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
7 }7 y# J3 M* A/ }: W Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
+ C6 i4 C1 [5 ^/ `- {: A4 r Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
. X( n# {2 A1 e, WThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
There is a 3-month probationary period.
