' O# f. S6 I$ Y Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.; ?2 ]4 w6 B/ R, }/ H; b
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
, s6 L6 W9 p1 o' M; L/ r Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.6 S$ @6 r# B. o9 j. U- `
 Completing required paperwork.
* `% V4 h2 l9 V; p( s Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.) j+ a# s$ k2 v B+ d
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.& ]& Z- G# C; n/ H5 D1 s. E1 \
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. 4 n1 g( `: E: z
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.2 D& D, ]: C2 x( l; t7 ^
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.* W# n" b9 O0 o
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
4 x+ K8 u9 t* N4 P$ S5 v Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.6 J8 R6 p0 L& { X: B0 a' t, n F
 Knowledge of community resources.
$ L/ ~: I; K+ m: o, u Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.3 e7 q" `( N+ _& ]% q
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006. 1 `- ? X ]7 }( v
