The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. * n* T) ^4 z9 h. n2 z$ E

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required* S* K+ \+ v' [1 B5 ^: X ?
• Answer multi line telephone system

& ?. I) \2 L6 p) K• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads% I( d; C- I8 Z& g- L. z$ L
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
5 p. c$ @# M0 x; ?' D• Input and manage high volume of data
9 H2 B! Z: p$ ~+ F: ]( x9 Q2 M: ^• Update and maintain databases, j3 c, |' g$ W2 s' G. q3 W1 I
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
9 c$ W$ H7 f3 k8 Z* w• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation9 E& D$ [2 k. b+ m4 N# E8 r: K
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
1 b4 O. G4 D/ @: m1 W- c• Write and revise business correspondence and forms9 e/ y, K% k6 u2 m
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
+ {7 m0 {% S' E1 `6 f9 n, ^• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre/ Y4 S, @: i) h
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure M2 H, K; X$ n9 ?( A; ]
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
& w, E; W9 Z8 N2 J7 q" ~, J• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
; X- Z, D) U. g& r9 c- q* Z: L3 g1 R• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
; }- K; `; H* |6 t( c' ^, Z( [ I• Able to interact positively with a diverse population0 Q2 s" w1 c% Z/ j6 j- g
• Strong customer service skills
