The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

+ G8 n1 @5 g% ~7 QThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

( M/ v! K( H+ i* F4 S; T" c V2 M• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
) ?) ]1 [8 I4 s$ M• Answer multi line telephone system0 s+ d% L& \8 ^& Y

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads" l2 Y6 i% J3 K- ?" D7 C
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits

' y. y6 n. ^! E; Z3 I! y- ?• Update and maintain databases }- M! \/ I3 \+ r
• Generate monthly reports and statistics# c3 d% S2 \. Y% b0 @
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation( R7 B ~1 R' L* j4 `8 ~
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
: U- I% ^; F5 `' S• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
1 p2 a* O. ?6 V! d( x$ T( v• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors

Qualifications:

1 |( z* Y" { l! k% P• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure$ o8 D" x+ c9 h$ D! R( }
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
, t1 `2 X0 O8 \+ |• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ _ l2 @7 U6 B( T- @4 t• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
# g0 y& ~5 T1 w+ L* _0 v3 h• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
