Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
8 T2 r: P( Y3 a, K/ tment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
5 C9 c/ Q3 c2 t6 t! E) u2 [The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
/ z- C$ x+ a8 a- B7 |Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
  |0 i$ f. B0 i, GŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
: ^5 o' f! H1 v4 [2 K# h( Isupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
6 y- }% \; _3 G, a3 x  h9 C+ aimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
1 Q% v0 N( T: W8 A: UŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
. T8 U: S. E, v8 B) J& @" U" EŸ Other duties as required.
3 N1 f; J1 n) C+ u, bQualifications:
! h4 H  t0 y' {: \Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
6 L) D# @9 V) Jeducation and experience;
8 p! d0 h  m( f; ^& `Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
6 v$ [- \- k0 Z- j% kŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
$ q8 d" N  `0 m: s8 d1 N7 ZŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
' `4 h# O. X/ A& j) x' c- |Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
