Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
1 i$ M" u* K% I6 V% `0 dment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
. S2 W. R2 O, Y7 YŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
* W7 ?1 j; ?6 E7 U) m3 T' n6 jthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
7 u3 L7 v; x7 G( t& QŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
1 e* n/ t! d/ [  |Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
1 @* ~* y" N. p8 p& h# U( E/ UŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
( m7 h* W, C% U$ N( V9 ?Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
7 `$ o6 X) G4 v' Veducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
0 N) l$ Z% M8 @3 B1 Z) c% [verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
