Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
6 ?3 v* c3 N: E! d( PManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
& Z! I6 O) j2 _+ K4 @' I' |The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
; b7 W/ v$ I+ e; J0 O3 FŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
$ b4 E2 I! \, i3 SŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
# i4 r/ ?0 G6 j4 Y% \" WŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
. X- C6 o* I6 C* P5 Z1 vŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
7 J3 q6 ~/ l; j' I' M/ x5 DQualifications:
! z1 C( l) K, e* ?) A( b7 X9 GŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
( a  y( Z* u- k4 deducation and experience;
! A1 `! F. |( x- o9 GŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
! `  B# c  ]( K4 m& e, q$ GŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
, O! T0 t2 D" Q2 FLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
