Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
3 R% G5 `, s7 _+ M5 JManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
& u) U' V  F0 o) t3 a+ ^ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
! z) g( e# `) TŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
8 i3 B) S5 |+ v! t8 Ethe organization;
2 e( k- O0 P& f, P+ PŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
% W* R3 Q3 C5 o# E: w8 t  DŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
5 p) Y5 |% g2 s5 hŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;

: S' C% }# l" `2 v7 eQualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
7 {' W2 U9 _1 y' V1 }( B6 [, TŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
