This is a nine month appointment, with the possibility of extension.

Duties
Supports a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop and on-line applications using Oracle databases, Oracle tools (Forms and Reports 6i), and Java in various flavors
Modifies forms and reports according to client specifications
$ Y7 Y  p4 ~5 S* ^Creates and modifies web-based front ends using Java, JSP and Struts
Assists in the conversion of applications from older Oracle tools to an Oracle Application Server environment
Qualifications
! {, e! A0 b/ W0 R7 r8 V/ FB.Sc. in Computing Science; equivalent experience considered
Several years related experience in a similar environment
Knowledge and experience in Java, JSP, Struts, Eclipse, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports 6i
6 u! G# L; G) M. f) G$ c& qKnowledge and exposure to Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition 10g and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g would be a definite asset
Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail
# L# i. q" i+ x0 L3 U% C: z% ~  R5 IOutstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills, strong commitment to client service, and a professional and positive approach
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a highly dynamic, energetic and demanding team
