Supports a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop and on-line applications using Oracle databases, Oracle tools (Forms and Reports 6i), and Java in various flavors
* x: {0 `* L* s- j0 MModifies forms and reports according to client specifications5 k. }& ?" p* U2 `2 S
Creates and modifies web-based front ends using Java, JSP and Struts
0 }7 s+ j4 t5 f( j$ f2 PAssists in the conversion of applications from older Oracle tools to an Oracle Application Server environment- m7 P2 o, N3 ]* H3 g" f' _
Qualifications, f# m* l6 U; A3 m9 q
B.Sc. in Computing Science; equivalent experience considered& c8 ~, I2 t, O) _( f
Several years related experience in a similar environment
- x3 C2 w. o4 e L4 XKnowledge and experience in Java, JSP, Struts, Eclipse, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports 6i
# o1 H2 v9 a; Q; BKnowledge and exposure to Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition 10g and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g would be a definite asset4 I' g9 h8 Q) S6 A0 J e* t
Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail
