Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
% v' T; H+ D; Y; \9 Uoperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
" M& E$ O6 \+ u/ [  ?" X1 R: Pthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
' h* ~: L* I" ^customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
# F/ P! |! a: s4 L7 ~Duties and Responsibilities
: k2 x/ S( t) q6 hCustomer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
/ i1 b1 r( e; A- i# E• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
' @0 y; u( a# F" Q+ K• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
" Z+ n3 l% C3 F* v: e7 Y• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
! W3 k9 T, E+ s9 dlooks under 25 years of age
+ y! P7 Z# P/ Y- M- J% YStore Responsibilities
9 Q" c$ s0 o- y" \( U# n• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
5 a0 C  R# u$ X. J& |  v% x2 ?• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
: ]0 u" Z0 @) `2 F" W0 N• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
: q& ?+ H% m. v$ r6 S" S• Protect company assets at all times
- _4 `; s) p+ K* h# ^& f• Close the store (key holders)
# H! i3 V$ D0 {, k( o• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
• High School graduate
2 ?  d" |- Q* I5 U% m• Criminal record check.
3 n% H1 g! \& s6 h& r6 h5 R• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
2 ~; i/ v  S* V5 F, E+ m6 \• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
: \" j* I: A! f7 g0 ~1 f" w, H5 P6 @6 achanges in strategies
Working Conditions

• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
* M8 A6 \3 t- I$ o$ P. ?• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
! }* H) i& p# v4 _4 K0 v• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
