SALES CLERKS
Job Purpose
. g% |. q) V3 S) mEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
: {! B0 g8 ~; m8 c0 d+ O' U  toperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
  ?8 ]; X, P, J- ythe Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
0 r; d. |/ O( `( wCustomer Service
/ ^3 u6 V" Y! s3 Z8 ^- Q  J5 e• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
7 Z& p  M% ^3 J3 R" T/ a• Assist customers find what they are looking for
" @" I* o" x& `4 G1 i% w$ m• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
5 Q0 _( _# t9 h, c/ Fstock
: L, n3 D4 h: }$ m( W• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
% @( H5 f1 Y9 K* g1 m7 s1 N6 n• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
) h2 A& V# C2 G+ T+ n( `• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
+ R+ P7 H% x) V! G5 a% [( X• Protect company assets at all times
6 K0 S+ U0 `! |# E• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

# O& P0 R: q6 p• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
" a5 C' u2 b" Q2 y+ S9 q$ f0 g& ^' {• Good problem solving skills
# B! m" I, X  U4 s• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies

; F: R' V+ l$ s" {! S; r$ R, ?• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
6 e: N6 r( N2 S• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
- o' R- p- M5 q+ U% i• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
