SALES CLERKS

Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
; N2 s# p3 q# e% B6 m6 d' w4 W2 ooperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
7 P4 }/ y! N( e7 r/ g! l6 |  a8 Rcustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
% X% k2 H9 m$ {5 @7 m7 Kthe Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
5 a* U- P0 H( ]! z- t0 vCustomer Service
. N% ]5 @4 a3 F: C• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
1 ~6 }7 q& J4 r  `! J* L• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
+ \# b1 x# L  L- M* glooks under 25 years of age
/ ~& m" [' j+ N; l: }( K7 tStore Responsibilities
0 O5 v4 g2 y5 ?& J  J• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
" o; y0 A) {' \1 e% Z, h4 K• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
( k& e1 T0 Y/ o2 S• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
' z! y7 h: L( I$ q8 k/ S: x' Q- I• Protect company assets at all times
. n% e7 i/ L0 z0 F1 Z* l• Close the store (key holders)
$ @6 V  Y+ D6 w! R• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
. y, ~2 [- k1 X: n0 X  ]• High School graduate
' e7 T0 @  X9 _9 I& `• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
0 s( e2 Q! K4 Z' B* j6 d3 |• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies
Working Conditions
• Fast paced environment
. H8 G' j1 t& d9 M( ^5 p( R  w' H• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
