Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
) F  m- X) J; ^# X        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
# p/ C! K) V, Y9 c! n9 s# R        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
) x9 q+ |% M1 c        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

2 ^" y" x7 H1 @: ?+ ~9 _QUALIFICATIONS:
& ~- v% y! [. ]/ L  Q0 M7 O•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
& Q: E+ M7 V0 y- p•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
( u6 K" t/ n1 Q- p; U" A•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
9 Z5 o# X( g& _8 m( ]# D•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  z9 ~9 J- G4 ^' T( r•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
3 _9 L* b( y  S' R5 h2 `0 {1 S•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
