Job Description:

9 Y! Q: F2 L! q. @* L
-        facilitate recruitment of participants for the Keshotu Leadership Academy
0 X3 s& L/ [1 g0 n  ?-        conduct interviews to ensure participants have necessary qualities
! y! T( |: y8 n, k/ M' D4 s5 f9 K3 t
- [+ d: s* X1 e1 q7 s/ r! }3 nOrganize Leadership Training Sessions
. J2 M$ T4 e1 a0 X. m% [0 w0 e-        locate an appropriate venue for weekly meetings
8 g' C! E- d3 ~-        set up a plan for the span of the project (Jan 08 – Dec 08) for weekly meetings
' \$ m6 f8 [# i# B-        use project proposal to ensure time is spent with all identified areas

7 A- M' ^" _4 A0 d0 T% b% A$ D$ kPlan and Facilitate identified public events
6 C% Y9 O" ~9 R2 W# ^9 C0 ]-        with youth participants

' O+ z( j% @$ R5 |& z-        work with media consultant to ensure good coverage of project

Networking
  @3 A' {2 _6 w( R; H2 ?" s. U-        attend meetings relevant to organizational mandate
+ Z2 Z4 S- d( [  j: k( n8 m0 a-        create and maintain relationships with community groups, individuals, institutions that are interested in race relations

Professional Development
-        Be informed on current issues on race relations and other areas relevant to the position.

Proposal Creation
! M1 S5 E: m0 f7 W8 N% T: o' W-        With program manager, create proposals to continue funding of this project.
  S& s+ L; B+ b0 A) l, E( h$ _-        Also with program manager, create a logic model for each project with activities; short, medium, and long term outcomes; and indicators

8 v6 ?6 k* [0 y* X, n$ |4 pReports to Funders and Program Manager
-        submit quarterly reports to program manager and timely reports according to requirements of each funder

; q9 A0 Q2 k( O# e+ d) z6 z/ _Project Evaluation
-        work with external evaluation consultant to collect appropriate data for evaluation
-        include in all interim and final reports, outcome measures using indicators from logic model

/ y) @6 D8 |7 S-        experience with project coordination
-        degree or diploma in human services field
-        developed knowledge and skills in one or more performing arts
