The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers+ N1 b% C+ C. U3 x
§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution ) ^1 |  W) J& r
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation/ b, S6 `6 X* d. l  P. I
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
+ {% D- n( b' L3 W$ K% b  m§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk5 u3 T( d$ R; `4 m0 D) Q$ `% t9 h
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert
# O5 I: [* V0 n7 [§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties* ?& c' I, @1 l# Y! F4 `
§ Special projects as required. c3 x$ ?8 h0 x" R* Y% L
§ May be required to provide after hours pager support for emergency trouble calls

Qualifications:
1 U% a6 \. j* k3 m( I( G/ h* v§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience
1 j# {& v! ]5 p' p6 R: `, d. t, h§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision6 e8 w6 u, K  @2 m; p
§ Fundamental commitment to customer service
5 ]! I2 c. k0 F4 x2 y5 f$ y1 C7 p, X§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues
+ D1 L5 k' c" {$ L: \4 k3 V) {§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware
9 w: {$ [8 H3 A  d, ^& D& _6 D" j§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software

V0 Z! l' J§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems- K- h1 W+ l7 {, Z2 Z

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

Responsibilities:
+ j' l0 k! @# T$ V2 m§ Manage a stable local IT environment 6 B3 S' k8 T7 |- n% [- I& ^2 Z
§ Manage and coach staff in IT group7 M: S8 T$ J% p
§ Oversee and provide small systems technical support
5 S4 |: C! d! j: g: n§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives
2 `1 i5 H: p5 j§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports
; \# t0 F( X# h! s- U6 X. X§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
  K/ n7 Z' {; X- {§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to
6 O* c3 N( l, n( Z: P' Z§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
1 A3 v7 T3 B9 ^8 s' O5 {& Y§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access+ |& |2 O/ o" x0 B: S
§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures" Z" s- y; a4 |! l; X2 l8 j
§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan
/ a7 ~) @- e: h3 y, Z, [- q§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk7 P7 r9 `" k2 i; ]" q( B7 Q  A
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert( E- w. q. M7 ]; K
§ Provide technical and procedural recommendations to management" g" i$ U5 W5 r
§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance
9 J1 r- k- c! H* B9 ?§ Implementation and support of small systems technology initiatives in conjunction with SYSCO Canada IT. @. B% `4 y; k8 {: @& n% ^; p) v
§ Coordinate and support end user training, F4 D5 K1 q7 k" w8 b7 U7 b
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with IT related suppliers and service providers. {4 \. v: ~* W/ F! ~- o
§ Collaboration on development of internal intranet and external website maintenance$ m/ O( s% u+ s3 x% o, [
§ Manage all printers in the building

§ Able to manage a local IT environment while working within a Corporate IT structure at a national level

呵呵,不是manager 就是administration.; i4 I  N2 z. e; y8 V

8 Y. g8 f6 A+ C& R3 P在国内应征的话还敢。在这里既没加拿大经验,英语也不好,想都不去想这些位置啊。
