+ P( G+ d# p* D rThe IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.

i- C4 Y! t7 D) W% E* F§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
P$ p5 y p7 }& J" V) b/ b" U$ w§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution : C9 j% G' ?4 g: f5 o7 h
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
/ f8 [* Y& k) Z2 [§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times1 R/ Y4 T8 b/ e* Z! N7 d
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk7 K# L3 P( a: u$ p
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert8 {7 e4 n! P$ O
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties/ J2 _$ P! i) r/ {( `
§ Special projects as required

§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience u' @# ]# q W* q- h
§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision

§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software

Position Summary:
1 [0 T+ V1 s0 ~7 N, J1 [+ G: lThe IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

Responsibilities:

§ Manage and coach staff in IT group

§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives+ M: q7 Q* P! x6 N- A$ E
§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports
$ C5 M' t, @% f/ q! F j§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation. |" C- o) ~, M' a" o
§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to
3 Y" ~9 b) c4 i§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times; T6 r' s8 I# D9 z9 j, v M
§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access

§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan
