4 u5 a  S* u) J' eThe IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers) D$ u. k4 U1 N7 Z3 h4 F
§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution 3 B2 f5 o1 j' c7 \
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
) N3 i" w. A! s: I7 a* A0 `7 C§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times* X8 o3 c, B& v2 |
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk% |7 n; ?) _# _2 V. U& m
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert; S, }/ t! S$ C  u2 v7 u( M
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties/ A- l; H9 W1 h
§ Special projects as required7 h# p' N1 U( Q! K1 K
§ May be required to provide after hours pager support for emergency trouble calls& P2 s) ~8 o- Z: r& V) w  u8 u

Qualifications:) ~4 }+ N% c% B. ?4 o
§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience7 j# ~+ Q7 }; h' s8 L0 `! X6 _* `: b
§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision
4 Y0 x% |4 B- b( k& A& v§ Fundamental commitment to customer service2 p, F, V7 S9 w
§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues8 m* ]! k  N7 M5 B3 c
§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware+ q, _5 T3 ^" H# b
§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software( x! H4 {8 P' J3 u' V
§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

Responsibilities:

§ Manage and coach staff in IT group1 f. D/ \0 g0 T& V
§ Oversee and provide small systems technical support: U' s7 z( l$ l( t* E" g4 p
§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives
3 _, G7 L3 t! X# g% d" |. }§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports
* v6 p6 ~4 L! z. X! j§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
* H( c, Y! n1 A9 |3 ?7 |0 {8 x§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to
& u1 j. ^" D6 o+ `§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times3 A- {* k8 y7 E$ _- a3 U; w2 V
§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access) S9 l& x) Z7 o  ?
§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures. i2 ~2 x! x% |# u8 A
§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan( f: H% ?1 F4 e$ B4 b/ y2 x, p: `+ w
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk- X- O; Y" q- m, U, V
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert4 e8 z0 y$ {* g$ L9 `
§ Provide technical and procedural recommendations to management
" ~. n# a. `, v$ B# _$ O§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance
: P% ]' A% s0 k7 J7 A4 b/ n' v§ Implementation and support of small systems technology initiatives in conjunction with SYSCO Canada IT) |0 |, L" X/ w  O, _; h4 G
§ Coordinate and support end user training; H* Q6 {7 L' o) r  n) }
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with IT related suppliers and service providers
' X9 x) F5 c% S§ Collaboration on development of internal intranet and external website maintenance! R$ H+ F8 D5 X/ H
§ Manage all printers in the building

呵呵,不是manager 就是administration.

在国内应征的话还敢。在这里既没加拿大经验,英语也不好,想都不去想这些位置啊。
