Real world gas mileage post

Recently I began to monitor the gas mileage of my 90 Chevy Corsica,V6/3.1L 3speed automatic transmision. Curb weight about 2885 lb
The gas mileage measure method I got from a local friend is that fullfill the gas tank each time, put down the mileage and gas volume(litre) filled in, then
2 y$ ?- W8 Z9 lThe gas mileage = (next time mileage - previous time mileage) /(next time filled gas volume)
4 z2 S. K# y- u3 b, Q% \  OAfter convent to MPG(mile per gallon), the result I got is 26 MPG

1 Km  =   0.62137 Mile
