Science Sunday for kids!

On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

: z, p) n- @: ?0 e: Z5 W; _3 wBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:
  m& v5 L6 g: `
learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
digging for and examining fossils
: l! m. {7 M4 v  _8 A3 Lexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
4 B/ U# ~, y3 y) Yinvestigating insects
6 E0 A# W; B4 J$ Xand much more!
+ k4 K) b" J6 T5 f* [9 `* U5 [) `" k% z“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.

Science Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.

今天去了这个活动， 很有趣。 最大的感触是自己的知识太少。 一会我把片片压缩一下发上来吧。。

认真的听讲解， 但更认真的想打开那个玻璃门。。

这一具恐龙化石弥足珍贵。 全世界只有两个， 而第二个标本的发现比这一个晚了50年。

还有很多有趣的活动， 就不一一上图了。 昨夜带他去看星星， 回来后看他衣服裤子都是湿的。
