几年前看电影you 've got a mail 学了个词ironic% A0 J+ c% M4 R# j& u) p, m
_# T4 @4 J& R( i; ~白水 发表于 2010-1-29 17:02  & F, q+ s2 v+ i3 X6 E" o3 _# y! ^
* P; x0 g: f* Y' H4 v7 Uironic:
& Y" W$ C- |% Q我在博客上帖了我们一大早赶飞机的照片,孩子们累得睁不还眼,我下面写的评注是: it's hard to tell that we were tired isn't it?
+ z3 r6 t. J* F+ G3 O5 xthere, I was being ironic5 x# m+ g6 _( S
ironic 还可以形容一个situation, 比如:al gore is portrayed as a front line fighter for environmental issues, ironically he owns one of the most gas consuming cars in the world.
美女: are you being sarcastic?
. i- y* r- ^- j8 ~8 L# ?4 k如花: i swear, i mean it, you are one of the most beautiful girls i‘ve even seen!
3 \4 I* k7 O, |# z) p4 n美女: thanks! ironically i was just told by my brother:if you are not pretty,better be polite。 |
