今天学到了一个单词：sarcastic

最近教公司的一个美女普通话。
& F5 x; k- W- T+ C今天，我教她“美女”.
她问是什么意思
我接着说“美女means "beauty". you are 美女"
她说：“is it kind of sarcastic."

她说：“someone say you are smart but it doesn't mean you are really smart."

sarcastic - 讽刺的意思。

ironic 还可以形容一个situation， 比如：al gore is portrayed as a front line fighter for environmental issues, ironically he owns one of the most gas consuming cars in the world. (好容易让我编出这么个例句来！）
* u3 d; G+ t' G, O- ysarcastic 有更多感情色彩，有主观上的一种伤害，攻击的意愿，是坏的intention

还拿如花的例子说，这个情景对话两个词都能用到：
如花： hi 美女
; ?0 Z  n$ C/ C美女： are you being sarcastic？
' T/ d8 j* H; |8 V如花： i swear， i mean it， you are one of the most beautiful girls i‘ve even seen！

4 I7 [+ D4 x- P& t$ P5 q3 G+ A* _ironic是两个情形之间的矛盾关系。比如“竹帘家照片上神采奕奕”和“实际上很劳累”的对比关系。比如“昨天领导还讲话”，“今天已经被革职”。

1 j( V1 F; u5 A! Rsarcastic是对某一事物的批评性的讽刺。比如“叫我美女是恶心我呢吧？”“才贪1000万，太廉洁了！”
