- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth2 {& J8 |: y; N, G
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling, y6 ~7 G, I5 u* l* k
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups$ t1 Z. w# E0 K" g
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs# G& c. I+ p) m% R. E% e
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

^8 e( G2 I8 z! X- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences0 ^! g/ r# x2 P* V
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
. I8 D( L0 `; v5 Y; i! d- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
( E# b) B5 {/ P4 G8 Q6 x% k- Experience doing program development
2 ]5 |+ M- N) o( ]$ s4 @- Strong organizational and coordination skills: B* {+ S2 ]6 E& I2 K
- Self-directed and able to take initiative
7 d# O2 d% @& Z0 B! Y- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset; ?" X _" L) ^: o
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license

- Skills in marketing & promotions
