- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
; h" z7 a) Q# k) R, s2 m- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling* k8 J( G$ h0 h0 f3 \
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
- |% p1 R, `9 r# `1 n6 Y/ i- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs/ c' A' E5 i. K7 H
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

6 j5 J7 }% ^* {% F9 yKey Qualifications:
% q/ y6 M! R* S/ B/ m- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences1 ~8 d3 J2 G; j/ E5 r% p$ ?
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
. V: ]* h E8 k6 j& D3 ` p- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others+ E, X: f8 r/ V$ I$ [8 k
- Experience doing program development
: D f/ ^6 {0 Y/ U( h% `; M- Strong organizational and coordination skills
& d# \( S9 [2 s$ C, v, m- Self-directed and able to take initiative
7 n) O1 n F1 |7 X# Z1 }- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
) {6 s: {8 C3 ?4 [0 `; u; B- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license& J1 V3 b7 s4 C- K
7 i8 g1 ~) c$ h& r* I$ _3 c! |2 D( c/ w7 H/ `5 S& M

- Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation" w% ]2 U1 m0 x; }' e: f

- Skills in marketing & promotions
