^6 `7 Q/ w: Z& \Introduce Alberta’s oil sand deposits, ways of producing bitumen, process, explain type of structures for each processing steps, and why maintenance projects are always needed in oil sand companies. + h0 n) T, u% w. y' t
Introduce project execution plan, and explain what civil/structural engineers need to do in a project, what are the engineering deliverables in different stages. $ |# M6 q; o3 H2 h* ^# c
At last, discuss the structural designs in heavy industry, introduce the types of structures/foundations in heavy industry, design code/specifications/, design deliverables, what should a calculation report include? Some information on detail design, foundation design, dynamic foundation design and modularization design. |
