新学校2010年才正式开始招生，谁知道好不好。不过听说很多其他学校的老师正在申请去这个学校教书。

西区环境很好，但有一点可能要注意。
据说在很多年前，西区有些地块是湖泊和沼泽，其土质比较软，地下水水位可能比较高。因此此地区的建筑地基要求比较高，譬如，Landmark 在很多小区采用20几尺的深桩，很多新建房也备有应急排水措施。在该区买独立房，该房地势和排水可能要加以重视。Condo 应该没有问题。

听realtor说过leviws的土比较软，parkland没有问题，不知对不对。其实现在建的房都是验收通过的房，所以也不用担心这些吧。

House shifts due to soil settlement, sometimes it may go to certain extent that will cause damages to the house, like ,you will see cracks on the ceiling, walls and basement floor OR even the house may slant a bit.

the hamptons 大慨包括三个小区 (Parkland, handpoint, and copperwood).

优点：
1> 绿化好，公关用地比例高。
2> 西靠indian保护区，都是森林，而且将来不大可能继续向西开发了.
3> 有K-9 school in the area, will be open in 2010. a high school had approval and under development.
4> 有recreation center 在建(网球场，游泳池...)，
5> 交通比较方便 (对有车的人来说).

缺点：
1>公共交通不如南边和西南方便
2>相比西南来说不是热点地区
3>到downtown 是东西走向，开车时阳光对眼睛有影响
4>欢迎补充

1.现在价格比西南便宜。
2.离西mall近，去大统华方便。
3.中国人比西南少。

新学校就在HARDY POINT大门的正对面，进HAMPTON沿着海明威路走开车2分钟就看到。
