influenza virus is contagious and is spread person to person via close
* m6 Y, n7 s" s+ E8 Z) \contact. The virus also rests on hard surfaces such as counters and+ ~" `7 g+ Z; W; ~1 b
doorknobs and can spread when people touch contaminated surfaces and8 v9 y6 \) C; s: G; V! T3 O% I' V
then unknowingly transfer the virus to their eyes, nose or mouth.
