Job Duties / Responsibilities
( {! y1 l* Z& e: zThis role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
* D, |4 {8 t+ b8 k• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
; Q9 ^, F0 E- e8 w; ]% T) K, c  v" o' I• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
7 S) j) ^. K- B; r+ ^6 q# j* l• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams
• Autocad and Microstation drafting
- b: W" n7 `; S4 Y& H+ y• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.


Education / Experience
) ~. T0 k1 t) S: M& ]• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
1 |. C( V+ Q! T* z: d( f, @5 @; t, y• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
" g  `2 Z) ]8 x" f% |• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
3 o9 [6 [  C8 p7 a' p+ f• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
! g3 r; X: m8 S; Q8 s) L, n; Y9 V+ f• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
