This program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

$ W5 a) x( t: S9 Q4 D# J( F5 ]Start date: November 2, 2009 End date: March 31, 2010.
2 I/ l/ f9 n7 `& l4 a5 o+ sPrograms run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm

Entrance Criteria
% \" D- q( \4 ^You must be/have:
8 Q7 g% b4 ~. {1 P7 w0 e$ }; l( t9 }• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Unemployed or underemployed
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Good moral character
* f: l6 y$ ^/ t+ M• Good health and physical condition
• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
5 J+ ~: w. X7 c+ T$ B9 S• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
% d1 e4 ~6 [0 o! A/ O• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
• Eligible for financial assistance, or willing to pay tuition
• Citizenship documents: Permanent Resident Card or recent Canadian
