Job Duties / Responsibilities
• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.
• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an
distributes material and tools in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Ensures that the right goods, in right quantities, in the right condition, are delivered to the right

• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.

5 v# X) K5 R) q3 w  L• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
8 e& n' k) W5 F' F+ h• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
& h9 `/ G2 |$ P0 L• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
6 W5 \+ v( j! f. x5 w4 B4 ?• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
7 x: \4 J$ x" {. V. @! Q• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
# q( U4 b, y8 G+ y# C1 [% I+ N• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
% u8 g# D7 q$ K5 W• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
, y) n/ A( j2 N2 ~* b$ ^. C• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
7 u9 B  @  B) n+ y• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
% |5 d/ ]4 ~" K+ q• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
resolution.
" {4 u0 d" v. j! V0 J% c• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
  P* h- K: {1 W, C, H5 U• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
8 D# E/ V( V5 G5 Z; X4 b2 s& a0 w• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
' E+ q* Y' l$ h! U  i' X! R• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
& i" H' j% K$ ~4 t2 |+ ^) \7 S' v" }• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
" w9 S! x( J" E4 t& M( m2 [( p• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.

. @) _, O; W# Y; ^: X- x& j• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
0 ?2 N5 p7 b  W# d* x2 S) c• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
% S  i) z5 [, C  A+ R• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.
' U  a' G/ M( E9 k$ Z7 t• Performs other Assignments or Project work as required.

  K' r: X5 A/ Y. w& bEducation / Experience
• Grade 12 / GED.
5 X! `) f! v3 k) Y3 \• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
! h" I! M& S8 a! x. \& d• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
8 v5 g' B3 c! L1 i8 X• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
, t$ I3 {" v5 c# |% N, ^9 {: [• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
