Job Duties / Responsibilities
) y5 z4 S/ P. s• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.
  v' f: w. y% Q9 w: M5 n; Z1 ?• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an
0 P4 x1 K# Z: ~* L- E( _distributes material and tools in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Ensures that the right goods, in right quantities, in the right condition, are delivered to the right
place (person), at the right time, for the right cost.
• Preserves materials.
" |3 f9 m$ \2 N• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.
• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
. }' Y, m$ p: @• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
7 T$ l* a% D$ V( V• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
- ]3 a7 R) v& h% n0 d) X7 P• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
1 p' h1 q2 W8 Q2 a1 j4 i, y2 F$ {2 R• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
' W4 `7 Z" |4 ~3 Y/ e• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
3 [4 t) Y" C$ X9 _: b( P• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
resolution.
• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
8 d( H1 p2 S/ }* N9 C; C4 _• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
* ~" U5 L3 k- y7 `0 y• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
2 D' P% J, Z: H' k) o• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
5 m3 D$ i) x& z' i4 X6 @* {• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
0 W, k) b( e; M7 t4 l5 w• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
3 X3 d7 O! ^& [1 j• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
2 z' m6 ?/ Z, N0 I/ g% `6 r- |% G• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
! a( V' _8 Q5 g, J• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
+ T& v9 {- a# c( ]2 D& Z' j4 D6 b% C5 T• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
) c- {0 d. e/ \0 U0 U• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.
• Performs other Assignments or Project work as required.

% }3 ?3 m% [0 ~) _+ P0 }& B9 LEducation / Experience
, v* {# z! p! |5 l6 I• Grade 12 / GED.
% s2 Z# @( \0 [• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
' F" k. a( x5 z6 i2 ^# e& C• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
8 o  }& v% X0 F$ d1 V! R• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
- ?# f4 c; i  X9 I. ~/ Q0 u• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
