6 v/ m$ ~, d0 d; U, VPoint Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.

The National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).
- P4 O- o" H" M4 X1 k+ L9 uGreat hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.
* G& S6 V- x! v1 I2 SThe ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.$ Y8 k* S, i* Q' Q. ?% N) t1 b
. Z* u: \5 K- ? Z7 a9 PThere are also two Provincial Parks within an hours drive- Wheatley Provincial Park(closest), and Rondeau (farther to the west) if you wish to camp. |
