There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont.6 y. K" t) H+ f! z
Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.: X0 r! Y! h. ~/ w1 Q
It is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.

: `" O3 ]. O3 t/ `, MThe National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).
9 Z* q, [# a" W; a* _4 D" cGreat hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.
. t, V7 X! p/ H$ u; JThe ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.
