Integrated Employability Skills Training gives immigrants the essential0 f* W" M- e" f; q8 b3 E+ o. I
skills needed for success in the Alberta workplace. This 5-month funded
/ L5 ^. o Y# f2 V6 q( tprogram combines classroom-based training with work site visits and work' @5 G: y* d( q+ z& ?: i
experience placements in high-demand semi-skilled occupations, such as
2 J+ F- Y2 S0 [! D. Z) Kwarehousing, customer service, hospitality, healthcare support, food
% T; J, \9 [$ g9 A, I, bservices and others.

Candidate Profile:

citizens or refugees who are eligible to work in Canada and who have: [5 i7 T* k( X: O
* English communication skills in the 4 - 6 range on CLB
1 S9 C& R3 H9 N/ a* Basic literacy and numeracy skills and some secondary or post-
) j/ r9 R% F! l0 Vsecondary education+ L0 s8 N, C' \4 k- y$ {
* A genuine interest in finding permanent employment in a high-demand( c* x @" j; b" g, G
occupation
. J9 f3 r2 i) j! b* Availability to study fulltime for 5 months and then be employed
