The YWCA is recruiting a Receptionist. The Front Desk is the central point for internal and external communications for all departments, programs and events. A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Answer multi line telephone system

• Arrange courier services for all departments0 e7 k/ X, @8 `2 ~7 {1 H
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail

• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency 0 B' h0 c9 [. Y% k0 O
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration) r9 ~; e+ M& r5 I5 S3 O
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers # z; }; y! n$ u: u1 ^: H% p4 a, O
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
9 M% O9 _2 F& V• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills * z! h# N( g( o
