6 b* b* m& z3 T3 m# WI surfed this website, it offers quite a few ,probably every kinds of orchids, for me , I only know the Phalaenopsis Orchid. How should I say, it is too complicated for the entry level orchid lovers.

Tea rose is not as hardy as the regular one, Plants them in a spot with winter sun and protect them with winter wrap may get them a better chance to survive our winter, but often different hybrids have different hardiness depending on parentage(breeding line) so success is  acquired often by trials of different hybrids. 1 L4 Q2 A3 M- l! s. MThere are many other orchid genera that are as easy as phalaenopsis and  only you move one step further  then you will realize many(not all) of them are actually a lot easier than many other plant families. Of course, interest always  precede a trial.

我查了很多资料了,但没有在ZONE3区能过冬的例子,都是ZONE5-6的,但我又最喜欢HIＢＩＲＤ　ＴＥＡ　ＲＯＳＥ．

You may wanna try the following easy genera:
Cattleya(including SLC, LC, BC, BLC hybrids),
, C- [+ d4 [" xPhrag.( a South American Lady slippers orchid genus),
Oncidium( dancing dolls orchid, you may see them for sale at Homedepot; the spraying yellow flower type is the easiest of this genus),
8 d' T8 n$ ]4 I" z4 \* dDendrobium( common Asian genus).           OR

& `# w; d, Y! X* ~* o4 L1 I( {Join OSA and go to its monthly meeting where you will see a lot more different kind of orchids and meet many experienced hobbyists that are most happy to answer any questions you may have. They hold sales every month too.
