1. Yes, you can start learning since the moment you got your class 7. But you can not operate the vehicle alone, you need a fully liscensed adult (can be anyone, doesnt have to be a driving coach) in the car while you practice or drive. 8 O( w0 |. U( b$ s* Y" U6 h0 l2 `
2. I dont know if they require driving school hours in Alberta. Check with the licensing registry. It could be that you don't have to go to a professional coach here to get class 5, but getting educated from a professional driving school may help to reduce your insurance.
