4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff

Activity Planning and Daily Activity
) k& e1 A5 I, v1 w& x* i6 n2 ^• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.6 ]0 l' m- h5 F* ]2 S9 f
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. 9 J" Z/ q& M) B0 q1 g, N
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
H' {) l6 A0 a, `. p+ x- r$ Y• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants. V6 {& Q! k# |
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.; ^1 T* z* V! w! A8 I8 @
• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.* m; P7 e: Y& i

The successful candidate will have:( [3 F6 J- w/ d+ e5 b& V6 H
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
2 {' w' r( d# z6 t: u: s) s• Experience with children0 J' f' c$ X/ k k: `1 S( b1 N; i
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth ' s0 p) H/ E/ C! n: K7 H
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.% E, n# |, s |. s( W3 ]0 k2 Q& T
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.* d7 \- _% ^1 l2 u2 J9 ~: k
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources8 u( A1 }' Y4 f
• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
+ [% v& o" W" D• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check / L8 f/ r9 y" L3 V/ R* r
& B% Z+ a/ ]5 F) W
