2 f, h h3 S: Q! F I0 qActivity Planning and Daily Activity$ C9 J9 E. w# h8 S7 Q
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.
7 o* |' W/ }5 K• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
% u; e7 m% m; x. V/ F) e0 Y" j, j• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
$ { T! t1 C8 O, f• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.$ }% J2 G3 _; b" d+ h$ u6 W& L9 D
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
/ R3 f- Q% m' V8 v• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.$ Q2 p$ P; B% \) v! `( ?
+ d' F% m/ [: ^/ Z' {) n9 xThe successful candidate will have:5 T6 d0 U0 C/ @+ B1 w/ ^+ O
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
2 U. h, [; X* G2 t) d( U) p• Experience with children
6 R4 Y/ x; N9 \7 p• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
5 L' b5 n& k3 c1 X+ {0 p" T! @• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.- ~3 x' z# K+ h- z
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.' f8 Y% t5 s: C/ e+ P
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
+ Q' J" _8 X3 r- R% D• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check 1 r' e" K0 o" B: _% h
• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check 3 A2 \+ F2 F; \# Z% K' I! l
