) W& P. Z, ^; b( R! a$ }Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area provides mentoring programs to more than 2,800 children, youth and families.  We are looking for 4 temporary full time summer staff.

4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff

2 f, h  h3 S: Q! F  I0 qActivity Planning and Daily Activity
•        Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their  resilience, relationship building and leadership.
7 o* |' W/ }5 K•        Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
% u; e7 m% m; x. V/ F) e0 Y" j, j•        Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer  and volleyball,
$ {  T! t1 C8 O, f•        Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
•        Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
/ R3 f- Q% m' V8 v•        Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

+ d' F% m/ [: ^/ Z' {) n9 xThe successful candidate will have:
•        The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
2 U. h, [; X* G2 t) d( U) p•        Experience with children
6 R4 Y/ x; N9 \7 p•        Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
5 L' b5 n& k3 c1 X+ {0 p" T! @•        Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
•        Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
•        Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
+ Q' J" _8 X3 r- R% D•        Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check  
•        Documentation of a  clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
