Administration of production UNIX (AIX), Windows, and Linux server backups in a Dynamic Drive sharing environment. 8 k4 Y/ f* W, p; T) w
Candidate must be experienced in designing and administering large numbers of standardized configurations and following ITIL standard administration processes. # E6 l! A% [1 b7 b# l0 `' S# q
Maintaining and implementing Enterprise Backup solutions in IBM SAN configurations, IBM SAN hardware and IBM Storage Manager Software. / w* V3 C# W6 l% `! j3 a( k. O
Maintain hardware relating to servers and tape libraries in a raised floor datacenter.
! [! j( `1 g* v6 ^8 D1 Z' a+ NWorking with hardware and software vendor support personnel to efficiently resolve any issues with systems being maintained. ; i0 O/ C* a' b6 D
Ensuring all backups meet audit and SLA requirements. Archiving and recall backup reports for auditing purposes.
5 N8 p( U- A7 zHelp implementing enterprise wide system monitoring tools to monitor production Windows and UNIX servers running a variety of crucial business applications.

; p! q, G! J O7 M3 j c0 tThorough knowledge of Windows operating system and familiar with various Unix flavors like AIX, Solaris, and Linux

Experience with enterprise tape backup solutions - backing up and restoring Solaris, Linux, AIX and Windows servers with both Oracle and SQL databases. 7 k7 p4 R0 M- d) q; l- x3 n
Experience with troubleshooting in large environments. 24 x 7 on call availability.
