( D5 s1 E) a; E: X4 YSpecifically, this resource will be required to have experience in setting up, administrating, and managing very large industrial configurations (i.e., large number of servers and environments as well as multi-process servers).
Administration of production UNIX (AIX), Windows, and Linux server backups in a Dynamic Drive sharing environment.
Candidate must be experienced in designing and administering large numbers of standardized configurations and following ITIL standard administration processes.
. p$ ^5 |2 [7 U- NMaintaining and implementing Enterprise Backup solutions in IBM SAN configurations, IBM SAN hardware and IBM Storage Manager Software.
Maintain hardware relating to servers and tape libraries in a raised floor datacenter.
" c$ P) [" j1 EWorking with hardware and software vendor support personnel to efficiently resolve any issues with systems being maintained.
3 }) x- `5 ]6 ]1 ~! j- TEnsuring all backups meet audit and SLA requirements. Archiving and recall backup reports for auditing purposes.
9 u3 M& c5 s7 U2 _Help implementing enterprise wide system monitoring tools to monitor production Windows and UNIX servers running a variety of crucial business applications.
"MUST HAVE" SKILLS:
Thorough knowledge of Windows operating system and familiar with various Unix flavors like AIX, Solaris, and Linux
. _& `/ E5 Z; ^' f' h$ wStrong IBM SAN configurations experience
9 s* v2 U/ {# ?3 J. K) YExperience with enterprise tape backup solutions - backing up and restoring Solaris, Linux, AIX and Windows servers with both Oracle and SQL databases.
" c- J+ T- w6 F% a8 G$ z- BExperience with troubleshooting in large environments. 24 x 7 on call availability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3 ?9 w3 L" p% \: f/ k2 iCandidate must be willing to travel to client site and must have ability to work in both United States and Canada.
+ Z0 _1 h) R" T3 R“NICE TO HAVE" SKILLS:
Experience with automatic tape library maintenance and operation.
Basic networking knowledge - such as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with routing on multiple network interfaces.
Experience with Nagios or other system monitoring tools.
# f, v* s( J! M7 e8 |Bash or Korn shell scripting knowledge.
SAP, Microsoft SQL, and Oracle experience helpful
