Many vietnameses are in this business and are making much money. I am sure you can beat them if you would do a neat and better job. It is not a good idea to work for somebody in the plants/trees business (including greenhouses,nurseries, tree farms etc) ,you would almost for sure to make a humble living. I myself had ventured that direction and can hardly make much more than the minimum wages even though I had finished 2 landscape design courses (with 2 certificates). Keep in mind: be a landscaper, not a landscape designer, a landscape designer makes no money.

非常感谢您非常中肯的建议,我想可能和中国一样,靠农业赚钱是很难的,给人打工就更困难了。每办法,行业就是如此。我在国内省一级的技术部门,职称也晋升的算很快的了,可我那些搞通讯: `" E3 F x# M
计算机的同学比,工资差两倍还多,没办法啊,不能比。男怕入错行,女怕嫁错郎。可是说实话,我挺喜欢这个行业的,除了工资低,我到不在乎风吹日晒,毕竟也是一把年纪了,好看赖看的无所谓了。我老婆就劝我说过去改行吧,否则很辛苦,但我还是愿意在相关专业做点事,您说的话我一定记住,要干就自己干。真的感谢您的热心,谢谢·!请以后多指点。另外我想问一下您现在做什么呢?过来多长时间了?以前就是学园林设计的吗?
18#tonghaien : f7 g; Y1 o9 j* F % f, A, N0 }2 [+ U6 PThis is my 15th year in Edmonton and taking some part time jobs for now to make money for groceries (I do whatever I know how and not too labour intensive works like fence painting, repairs,small jobs alike that other people don't wanna take, mostly referred by friends or people who know me) I was not in the landscape trade before but gardening and growing plants have always been my hobby/interest since I was a kid.That is why I decided to get some training in landscape design after moving to Canada with a hope that I can start a career related to my interests but failed to do so. I am still an active gardener and orchid grower though.
