Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
2 v& g! h4 }8 D8 s- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
% ^. b0 p/ S/ G0 h- Provide orientation for parents
) v- h8 R. w. N' t/ a; q- Find sponsors to enhance program
9 q3 a( c  f( f- Y& P6 |- Supervise volunteer(s)
# j7 L9 g) y* k3 O( l% d3 A1 T- Prepare final report for funding agency

- }6 B: s4 T; _$ M& ^! M# o
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
4 ~; v: i. W" Z- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- w3 z! A2 e( b- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
' ~# b9 L, v$ r& i6 D6 e; z# G- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- \  R. c/ {7 l7 M- good computer skills
* x6 g/ a) h  Q; @( L- v- `6 Z- leadership abilities
