Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
8 K: w+ H' Y! s( h- Provide orientation for parents
; G  b' H4 U4 C6 c: w+ X$ }- Find sponsors to enhance program
8 N2 Z. h; d9 D$ Y8 ^- Supervise volunteer(s)
* I& Z" V* R% }& A- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

5 Q9 D0 Z+ i" P5 q- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
2 ]: K2 M! |% V. V- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
