Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
  t* n) v: |; ]7 ~  N  P& G. t+ v To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
, L2 L2 ~4 ^& c1 Z# B/ T- S To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
, n2 D1 c" a. X+ I4 ~! U To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
& x4 S! @' R5 H# s) y+ B* M To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
& ~1 {# M7 F9 {. w7 n9 E 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
5 c! q# C9 W5 ~* J) j5 m- F' d Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
1 t+ }$ y" {. r4 l& p/ X Current CPR and First Aid certifications
% s7 z7 M" Z# V% o) H& a0 G Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
