The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

+ ?( J# a" S, [* n" w7 pThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities 2 X; k) ^0 H& H5 m
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors , X( ?* j0 h L1 K/ n
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
3 V1 s, D3 _# ~1 v4 n* }' w( M• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services$ d$ R: L9 X% u
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
) Q/ S- J/ ^4 z% ~( e• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes( d# P- ^+ d4 f: q! @
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required( C6 ~ l, z6 ~# Q) ~* W
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication' K' Q/ k+ o8 z1 q, E* N7 ?
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested) f6 t. C1 J8 t+ y1 E+ X
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
3 O1 e. Y- m1 ?. Z0 s. b• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program$ n V" g: V2 Z8 _9 I
• Implement service modification, as required

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director5 @$ a: ~7 q' w! w' T
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review- v; W& {! @& m# n3 u0 }2 r6 y
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required( R; ]1 A+ ^9 a/ B2 G7 q

Qualifications:
" x! P- @# c5 k. F
* S& v1 Q& `, E) A+ V& z8 \& O• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
* G1 X3 r \4 r! v1 I• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
* _9 L" H1 {2 @8 {* O9 o• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
5 w. b' |1 y* j5 h8 ^% J• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
4 e( w3 o/ Z; m" V! G" m0 U. M• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population5 L* [# S/ I' C8 I+ ?
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office- _% w9 N* c" ^' S7 Z
• Equivalences will be considered
