The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.: K d, M+ ~( C6 }2 k. W& H v
6 x9 D% m- e; U/ ]- JThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
% q0 W: r2 a+ ?+ D2 ^3 q• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors . s6 D- y: Q% d1 O5 `
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities" R3 ]5 o! O$ I; q( p2 A
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services2 y- B4 y+ u7 v$ a S! q
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
7 M0 z/ U- k' X( c: E• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes$ |1 U2 f9 F: |# r, v. R0 d
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
" \ N- h. U; D* O* q• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication

3 S- c: M8 c4 ~• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
2 t# F c, @. C8 c• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

Administration
: M q8 |( z& ^% o8 D& n8 s" I2 `• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
" f0 h' ], i6 |; U" h• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review0 V# X2 o3 _3 J( k0 t9 V, R+ Z
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required! Q& j% [9 t- {( E

* T4 B9 ^6 q" k# A. R' X" K• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field! n! |! ?: G q" ^4 l
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities$ c- u3 x' B* X0 X
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
* m* H: e% Q4 C: I! w• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
+ w- z* e/ W9 K7 n" D6 J• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
