summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to - k& U$ K' U! a, _3 G
support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

! n8 N; O+ Z1 W; o# a! ^' m! q! qFAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from 8 \+ I: j) Q( P- B( S j
emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
. W% ^5 K6 `3 f( }! wand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
1 s' s$ y d- M3 Kresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and 2 F& f9 K" {8 \
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern , R; ~! S& F e; ^% l! m6 {% W

FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as : r- r( p! w$ W# N1 |, t' O
well as the script, magazine and book library.

+ R1 v$ }2 D. T9 j8 B% f& f- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
* F* W* `9 L9 q1 @1 ^4 q- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
+ t* ~" N$ N$ ?: ~# p) h- Implement a catalogue template for future use
2 l. R2 S5 y& u6 e/ V- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

* F5 d* q& u. ?- Strong organizational skills
